What every standard install includes
Our install prices cover a complete, working system, not just the boxes. Many quotes include only 3 m of pipe; ours include 5 m.
- Indoor unit and outdoor unit from the brand and range on your quote
- Up to 5 m of insulated refrigerant pipe, run in neat white trunking
- Outdoor wall bracket or ground stand
- Gravity condensate drain to a suitable outside point
- Connection to a suitable existing fused spur
- Nitrogen pressure test to check every joint
- Deep vacuum before any refrigerant is released
- Commissioning: pressures, temperatures and airflow checked
- F-Gas record of the refrigerant in your system
- Manufacturer warranty registration, done for you
- Dust sheets down and a full clear-up before we leave
What can cost extra
Some homes need more than a standard install. These are typical market ranges taken from published London and South East installer price lists, not our prices. If you need any of them, we price it on your written quote before you agree.
| Extra | When it's needed | Typical market range |
|---|---|---|
| Longer pipe run | The outdoor unit can't sit within 5 m of the indoor unit | £30 to £120 per metre |
| New electrical circuit | No suitable spur nearby, or a larger 5 kW or multi-split system | £150 to £500 |
| Consumer unit upgrade | Your fuse board has no room or is out of date | £200 to £800 |
| Condensate pump | Water can't drain away by gravity, for example on an inside wall | £80 to £300 |
| High-level or flat-roof outdoor unit | There's no suitable spot at ground level or on a low wall | £150 to £1,000 or more |
| Access tower or scaffold | The outdoor unit or pipe route is high up on the building | £150 to £900 |
| Removing an old system | An old unit has to go, with its refrigerant recovered legally | £150 to £350 |
| Making good and decorating | Pipes are hidden in walls or ceilings, or old holes need filling | £100 to £300 |
| Wi-Fi control adapter | You want app control and the unit doesn't have it built in | £50 to £150 |
Central London parking and congestion charges are added at cost where they apply.
VAT on our prices

| Servicing, plans and repairs | 20% | Inc. VAT. The price shown is the price you pay. |
| Business premises | 20% | + VAT. Most VAT-registered businesses can reclaim it. |
How to get a fixed price
Send the basics
Use the quote form, call or send a WhatsApp. Tell us the rooms, rough sizes and your postcode. A few photos help.
Survey
We measure the rooms, plan the pipe route and outdoor position, and check your electrics and any consents you need.
Written quote
You get a fixed price with the exact model, every extra itemised and the manufacturer warranty for that model. It's valid for 30 days.
Book your date
A 20% deposit books the install. It's refunded in full if you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period.
Pay the balance
The rest is due when the system is installed, commissioned and handed over to you. Nothing is due for unfinished work.
Price questions
Why do you publish your prices?
Because most people want a rough number before they invite anyone round. Our prices are starting prices for a standard job, and they're real: you can buy a standard install for the price on this page. If your home needs more, the survey shows it and the extra is itemised on your quote.
Is the price on the page the price I pay?
For a standard install, yes. Home prices, servicing, plans and repairs all include VAT, so there's nothing to add. Business prices are shown plus VAT at 20%.
What makes a quote higher than the starting price?
Usually one of these: a pipe run longer than 5 m, a new electrical circuit, a condensate pump, a high or hard-to-reach outdoor position, removing an old system, or choosing a premium or design range unit. Your written quote lists each one separately.
Do you charge for a survey or a quote?
No. The survey and the written quote are free, and you're under no obligation to go ahead. For some simple jobs we can quote from photos instead.
How long is a quote valid?
30 days from the date on the quote. After that we'll check the price again, mainly because equipment prices change.
How much deposit do you take?
20% of the install price to book your date, and never more than 25%. The balance is due on completion and handover. If you cancel within the 14-day cancellation period, we refund the deposit in full.
How much is a service or a repair?
An annual service is £119 including VAT, plus £59 for each extra indoor unit on the same visit. A repair starts with a £125 diagnostic visit, which covers the first hour on site and comes off the bill if you go ahead with the repair.
