Why choose LG
LG is a South Korean electronics company that makes a full range of air conditioning, from single wall units to large commercial systems. Its home units are simple to use, quiet enough for bedrooms, and among the lower-cost options we fit.
LG suits you if you want reliable cooling and heating without paying for a premium badge. It is also a good fit for garden offices, home gyms and rental flats, where value matters more than design. The trade-off is LG's warranty condition: it asks for servicing twice a year, not once.

Multi-split
LG multi-split, commercial systems and controls
LG says one of its multi-split outdoor units can run up to five indoor units. You can mix wall units with consoles, ceiling cassettes or concealed ducted units. For offices and larger buildings, LG makes the Multi V range of commercial systems, which we quote after a survey.
Every LG unit comes with a remote. For phone control, LG's app is ThinQ, which LG lists as a feature across its current wall units. We set it up with you at handover.

LG publishes its UK air conditioning warranty terms on its business warranty page. This is general information from LG, not a statement about us.

Your written quote states the exact LG warranty for your model. Alongside it, our own 2-year workmanship guarantee covers the installation and transfers to the new owner if you sell. In the first 2 years we don't charge labour to fix an LG manufacturing fault.
We service and repair LG systems whoever fitted them. If your unit shows an error code, send us the code and the model number from the label on the indoor unit, and we'll tell you what it usually means before we visit.

How much does LG air conditioning cost to install in London?
A DUALCOOL Standard Plus wall unit in a bedroom or study starts from £1,850 fitted, with 5 m of pipe. A living room size starts from £2,050. DUALCOOL Deluxe adds from £250 per indoor unit and ARTCOOL Mirror from £550.
Is LG air conditioning any good?
Yes, for most homes. LG's current wall units are quiet, heat as well as cool, and have app control. Premium ranges from other brands, such as Daikin Perfera, have higher published efficiency figures, and Daikin and Mitsubishi Electric offer more design choice. LG wins on price.
Why does LG need servicing twice a year?
It is a condition in LG's published warranty terms for single split and multi-split systems. If you want to keep LG's cover, plan on a service every 6 months and keep the records. Our Twice-yearly plan from £219 a year does this for you.
What does LG's 10-year compressor warranty cover?
LG lists a 10-year warranty on the compressor of single split systems. It covers the compressor part only, not the labour to fit it. In our first 2 years we cover labour on manufacturer faults. After that, we tell you the labour cost before any work starts.
Does LG have an approved installer scheme?
LG's UK warranty page talks about LG-trained installers with F-Gas certification, who can offer 5 years instead of 3. We couldn't find a UK scheme called LG PRO on LG's own pages. Whoever you use, ask for the warranty for your exact model in writing. Ours is on every quote.
What is the LG ARTCOOL Gallery?
It is a wall unit with a framed front that holds your own photo or artwork, so it looks like a picture on the wall. It costs more than other LG units, so we quote it individually.
Can I control LG air conditioning from my phone?
Yes, with LG's ThinQ app over your home Wi-Fi. You can switch rooms on and off, change the temperature and set schedules from anywhere.
Will you repair an LG system someone else fitted?
Yes. We repair and service LG systems whoever installed them. If it is still under warranty, tell us when you book so we can check what is covered before charging for parts.
