Our installation guarantee and payment terms
Every system we install comes with our own 2-year workmanship guarantee, the manufacturer's warranty, which we register and deal with for you, and your full legal rights. Here's exactly what that means, in plain English, along with how deposits and cancellation work.

- workmanship guarantee
- 2 years
- stays with the property
- Transferable
- on maker faults for 2 years
- £0 labour
- deposit, refundable in 14 days
- 20%
2-year workmanship guarantee
If anything we installed goes wrong within 2 years because of how we installed it, we'll come back and put it right free of charge. That includes the parts, the labour and any refrigerant.
The guarantee stays with the property. If you sell your home within the 2 years, the new owner is covered for the rest of the period.
- Pipe joints and refrigerant leaks at our connections
- Condensate drainage
- Wiring we installed
- Brackets, ground stands and fixings
Manufacturer warranty, handled by us
Your Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, LG or Panasonic system comes with the manufacturer's warranty for your model. We register it for you within the manufacturer's deadline and give you the confirmation.
Warranty length and cover vary by brand and model, so your quote states the exact length and what it covers for the model you choose.
If a manufacturing fault appears, contact us first. We diagnose it and deal with the manufacturer for you.
What keeps the warranty valid
Manufacturers require the system to be serviced every 12 months, with a written record. LG asks for a service every 6 months.
Any F-Gas certified engineer can do the service. It doesn't have to be us, though our maintenance plans make it easy. Keep your service records somewhere safe.
What's not covered
Our guarantee covers our workmanship. It doesn't cover faults caused by something else, such as:
- Accidental or deliberate damage
- Misuse of the system
- Power surges or electrical faults outside the system
- Blocked filters or drains through lack of cleaning or servicing
- Changes or repairs by someone else that cause the fault
- Cosmetic wear
- Consumables such as filters and remote control batteries
- Specialist access equipment, such as a cherry picker or scaffold, if the unit's location needs it and you agreed to that location. Your quote will say so.
Your legal rights
This guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and doesn't affect them.
If something we supplied or fitted isn't of satisfactory quality, or our work wasn't done with reasonable care and skill, you're entitled to have it put right, whatever this guarantee says.
The guarantee is given by IN Global Ltd, trading as Westbridge Air. It covers installations we carry out in England.
How to make a claim
Get in touch
Use the contact page, the repair form, or the Call and WhatsApp buttons. Tell us your address and roughly when we installed the system.
Describe the fault
Say what's happening and send a photo of the unit and any error code. That helps us bring the right parts.
We visit
We book a visit, find the cause and tell you whether it's covered by our guarantee, the manufacturer's warranty or neither.
Put right
If it's covered, we fix it at no cost to you as set out above. If it isn't, you get a written price before any work starts.
Deposits, payment and cancellation for homeowners
Here's how paying for a home install works. The same terms are written on your quote.
- Deposit: 20% of the install price when you accept the quote, and never more than 25%.
- Balance: due on completion and handover. Nothing is due for unfinished work.
- Cancellation: you can cancel within the 14-day cancellation period and we'll refund your deposit in full within 14 days.
- Starting early: we only start work within the 14 days if you ask us to in writing. If you then cancel, you pay only for work already done.
Guarantee questions
How long is your guarantee?
Our workmanship guarantee lasts 2 years from installation. On top of that, you get the manufacturer's warranty for your model, which we register for you. Your quote states the exact manufacturer cover for the model you choose.
Does the guarantee transfer if I sell my home?
Yes. The workmanship guarantee stays with the property, so the new owner is covered for whatever is left of the 2 years.
Do I have to use you for servicing to keep the warranty?
No. Any F-Gas certified engineer can service your system and keep the warranty valid, as long as it's done on time and you keep the written record. Most manufacturers ask for a service every 12 months, and LG every 6 months.
Who do I call if the system develops a fault?
Us. Whether it's our workmanship or a manufacturing fault, contact us first. We diagnose it and, if it's a manufacturer fault, deal with the manufacturer for you. For the first 2 years there's no labour charge for manufacturer faults.
What happens after the first 2 years?
The manufacturer's warranty carries on for the period stated on your quote. If a fault is covered for parts only, we'll tell you the labour cost before we start, so you can decide.
Is my deposit refundable?
Yes, within the 14-day cancellation period. We refund it in full within 14 days of you cancelling. If you asked us in writing to start work inside the 14 days and then cancel, you pay only for the work already done.
Does the guarantee affect my legal rights?
No. It's in addition to your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If something we supplied or fitted isn't of satisfactory quality, or our work wasn't done with reasonable care and skill, you're entitled to have it put right.
